Prophet's biography:
Moving to Ta`ef:
Due to the escalating violence and tyranny of Quraish against the Muslims, Prophet Mohamed (SAW) became desperate to succeed in changing them. He studied the idea of moving to Ta`ef hoping that Allah may guide people who live there to embrace Islam. A trip to Ta`ef was not an easy one due to the hard road which is surrounded by high mountains.

However, seriously difficult matters turn to be simple in the name of Allah. Unfortunately, Ta`ef people were no better than Quraish may be even worse. They refused his call in a very demeaning manner pushing their children to stone him until his heels were bleeding. Feeling deeply defeated; he headed back towards Mecca. At this status he met Angle Gabriel who came with the angle responsible for mountains. Angle Gabriel called him and said that Allah sent you the angle of mountains to command him of your wish. The angel of mountains said: Oh Mohamed (prayer and peace be upon him) if you wish I'll pull down on them Al- Akhshabayn (two mountains surrounding Mecca). Prophet Mohamed (SAW) said: No but I wish that Allah will bring out of there loins people who worship only Allah with no partners.

The pagans sought several methods pushing Prophet Mohamed (SAW) for failure. In this, they asked him to introduce sings to prove his message. This situation was recurrent. In one of them they asked him to break the moon into two parts. He requested to Allah for this sign to happen. His wish was fulfilled and moon broke into two parts. The whole tribe of Quraish witnessed this sign for a long time. Yet they never believed in Islam. But they rather said Mohamed made a magic spell on us. One man of the group said: if he made a magic spell on you, his impact can not stretch to affect everybody. He advised to wait until the travelling group returns. As they did return, they asked them did you see the moon in two parts. They affirmed the sign. Nevertheless, Quraish remained firm on their disbelieving position. The breaking of the moon was not but a preparation for an even more impressive sign which is the Isra and Me`araj (Travelling to Jerusalem and ascension to the seven skies).
